Topics of those events focus on ESG issues such as: board structure, board composition and evaluation, set-up of board committees, succession planning, transparency and disclosure as well as shareholder rights. To this end, local and international experts on ESG are invited to share their knowledge and experience with the audience. On another hand, the EIoD used to launch the Governance Codes to the Egyptian business community, the third edition of the Egyptian Corporate Governance Code that was launched in 2016 is upgraded to an integrated Code “the Fourth Edition” focusing on ESG and named the Egyptian ESG Code.
