Training and Development
The EIoD designs and delivers a wide variety of training programs and professional certificates covering all areas of Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental topics.
These courses and certificates are targeted at board directors, key executives, top managers, and also other interested parties from the control function in all kinds of companies.
Training is designed and delivered to specifically meet the practical needs of participants from listed and non-listed companies, SMEs, family-owned businesses, banks as well as state-owned enterprises.
Alternatively, tailored courses for specific company needs are being offered such as in-house training for the board members of one company that tackle specific challenges of implementations a company might face.
Directors Certificates
The directors’ certificates are the flagship of the EIoD, it enables participants to become certified directors after completing certain training hours and the accomplishment of the professional exam.
Professional Certificates
The EIoD provides diversified Professional Certificates covers different areas of governance, internal controls, internal audit, compliance, AML and others related to Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental.
Each participant has to score 80% at least in the exams conducted after each professional certificate to get the final accredited certificate.
Training Programs
The EIoD offer wide range of training programs aims at spreading awareness of sound ESG practices with respect to the global leading practices. This courses covers the areas of board role, committees’ role, strategic planning, fraud prevention and other related topics.
MBA in Governance
The Egyptian IoD offers a professional Master in Business Administration in Governance (MBA in Governance) in collaboration with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities.

- Corporate Governance (in Arabic and English).
- Banking Governance (in Arabic and English).
- Health Care Sector Governance (in Arabic and English).
DBA in Governance & Finance
The EIoD offers Doctorate in Business Administration DBA in Governance & Finance in collaboration with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities.
